"Maa Kasam" is a story of a dare devil Police Officer, Ajay Shastri (Mithun Chakraborty), whose name spreads terror and even hard-core criminal starts trembling with fear. Ajay Shastri is transferred to Jagannathpur by Police Commissioner where, Acharya (Gulshan Grover), who is a son-in-law of Bade Thakur and a corrupt MLA, rules the area with the help of his Assistant alike Eunuch. 

Ajay starts his mission to put law and order and Acharya gets frustrated. Ajay is in love with Anu (Mink), the youngest daughter of Bade Thakur. The situation takes a delicate turn when Acharya's brother-in law and younger son of Bade Thakur (Hemant Birje) rapes Ajay's sister Jaanki and then kills her.

Acharya wants to take advantage of his situation and he promises to save Anand from the Police and in return he wants to marry Anu. On the other hand angry & furious Ajay swears in the name of Maa Kali to destroy the culprits which are very difficult looking mission as Acharya has power of men and muscle both.

Will Ajay fulfill his mission?
Will Acharya be able to marry Anu?
Will Anand be punished?
